Meet the Doctor

Dr. Anast grew up in Rockford, IL and knew he wanted to become a dentist at a young age. He obtained his Bachelors of Science degree in Biology for Medical Sciences from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville. He then attended Southern Illinois University, School of Dental Medicine where he obtained a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree. He moved to Chicago after graduating dental school and practiced as an associate for several years before purchasing Kimberly Smiles in December 2011.

Dr. Anast is committed to continuing education and has completed extensive post-graduate training in Oral surgery, Implantology, Invisalign®, Clear Correct®, Cosmetic Dentistry, and Botox® and Juviderm® administration. He is currently an active member of the American Dental Association, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Illinois State Dental Society, Chicago Dental Society, the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, and the American Academy of Facial Esthetics.

Dr. Anast and his wife, who is also a dentist, live in Chicago with their two dogs. They enjoy exploring the city, traveling, and trying new restaurants.

Responsibilities

Support the Doctor with any and all projects as designated to manage
Own day-to-day operations around office productivity, development, and management to all internal office procedures and practices
Oversee patient scheduling, production and collections, treatment plan and presentation, managing supplies, and other operational expenses
Support staff training and on-boarding around quality patient care, equipment monitoring, and compliance
Consistently and accurately manage the offices accounts receivable and payable
Deliver direct and indirect leadership to all Office colleagues
Respond to clinical and operational issues in a timely and professional manner
Present comprehensive treatment plans, confidently and accurately
Find opportunities to reduce cost and waste in the office
Complete understanding of how dental insurance, eligibility, benefits, and claims are processed
Review and monitor insurance contracts and fee schedules
Working and extensive knowledge of EagleSoft
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Bilingual (Spanish) is highly desired
High School Diploma and/or GED required. Associates degree or equivalent continued education experience preferred
At least 2 – 4 years of Dental experience, preferably in a leadership position
Excellent written, typing, and verbal communication skills, preferably bilingual
Ability to multitask, organize, and prioritize work

Salary

This is a full-time position that pays between $18-25 an hour that is strictly dependent on experience. All salary suggestions will be considered and shared with the Doctor for sign off at time of offer.

Hours of Operation

Monday: 2pm – 7pm
Tuesday: 7am – 3pm
Wednesday: 9am – 5pm
Thursday: 12pm – 8pm
Friday: 7am – 3pm
Saturday: 10am – 3pm

The office is currently closed Fridays and Saturdays.
