Position Summary
Diagnoses, treats, and performs research related to speech/language, cognitive, voice, and swallowing disorders.

Essential Functions
And Job Responsibilities
Evaluate and treat clients with speech, language, voice, swallowing, and neurological impairments.
Develop individualized treatment plans for clients with speech, language, voice, swallowing, and neurological impairments in addition to aural/rehabilitation for cochlear implant clients.
Utilize written and oral examinations to diagnose the nature and extent of impairment.
Perform research related to speech, language, voice, swallowing, and neurological impairments.
Perform instrumental evaluations such as, Videostroboscopy, FEES, VFSS, Acoustic Testing/Voice Analysis (Visi-Pitch), Cochlear Implant Evaluations, Clinical Swallow Evaluations, and fitting of TEP prosthesis.

REQUIREMENTS
A master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or CFY.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
Effectively communicate diagnostic test results, diagnoses, and proposed treatment plans in a manner easily understood by their clients. Effectively communicate diagnostic test results and proposed treatment plans to physicians. Must be able to approach problems objectively and provide support to clients and their families. Must be able to problem-solve, organize, and multi-task problems effectively and efficiently.
Special Demands/Requirements
Assist Otolaryngologist’s with in-office procedures such as Botox injection’s, Channel scope biopsy’s/injection’s, and oral biopsies.

Physical Requirements
