Overview

We are actively recruiting for a Sr. Ophthalmic Technician at our affiliate, Georgia Eye Partners. We provide a full range of surgical procedures at our own state-of-the-art outpatient surgery center. Procedures include cataract surgery, glaucoma surgery, laser vision correction, corneal transplantation, blepharoplasty, ptosis correction, orbital fracture repair, lid lesion excision and laser eye surgery for diabetes. We also offer a variety of cosmetic services including fractional laser resurfacing, Botox© and facial fillers.

Responsibilities

Responsible for assisting the ophthalmologist by gathering data pertaining to the patient’s visual status by maintaining an environment conducive to the delivery of efficient quality eye care. The ophthalmic technician is able to effectively perform appropriate clinical testing by previous form education and or clinical experience which allows an understanding of the theory, principals of eye care.

Qualifications

Graduation from an accredited high school
Ophthalmic and or optometric technician experience preferred
